has anybody ever had cactus dermatitis and know how to treat it. it is soars that you get on your hands from touching a cactus plant. any help would be appreciated.

It is caused by contact with minute hairs near the spines of cacti....try shaving the affected area and a vinegar bath....and don't touch them again.

ReplyDeleteI have the same problem. About a year ago I was pricked by the prickly pear fruit and developed skin rush in my fingers.
I've tried so many things, especially natural. the best thing for me right now is that I'm taking Beta Glucan - it's a supplement that boost the immune system. If I stop taking it it will come back (I've tried number of times).
I'de love to hear from you and share experiences...
